project #1

A long day of examining dogs. Mostly they were fine, just in need of some flea and worm treatment, a good feed and lots of TLC. This pen was full of puppies - some had been brought in with their mothers, others on their own. A happy bunch they were lapping up all the attention.

Myself, my nurse and the two egyptian vets working at the shelter managed to examine and treat 116 dogs in total. Some needed a lot of follow up care and the 'to do' list was quite daunting by the end of the day.
One step at a time.

No time for reflection, just dinner and bed, accompanied by hundreds of beeping horns!
