Tuesday 8 March 2011: Negative Flan Dish Memory
The other week I found a load of my old photos in my parents' loft. then today I found these negatives in my own house. They depict a classic moment in Taylor Kid (as we were) history.
Mum, that party we had when you and Dad were in Canada? The one where we were dancing in the kitchen and the Welsh Dresser wobbled? The dresser that held your self-handpainted flan dish?Your favourite dish that you took weeks to complete with the autumn apples design? The one which got smashed? The one whose broken pieces we stupidly collected and hid in an old Quality Street tin which you found weeks later?
Well, this was that night.
Great party. Sorry Mum. It wisnae me.
