A day at a time....

Sun light

We moved into a new flat about 3 months ago. It's in a 17th century house, very quirky, not a straight wall in sight. The floors are wood and are so uneven that when you walk across it it feels as though you've had one too many! None of the doors fit into their gaps properly.

But we love it here!

At the front of the house are four huge sash windows with shutters. This photo is taken in the kitchen/breakfast room. I love walking into this room first thing, especially when the sun is shining.

I love the way the light reflects off the shutters and the shadows created by the windows. I love the unevenness of the walls and the way the light emphasises this.

Sitting at the table we have a view of perfect Georgian houses and a beautiful church.
