Plymouth: Charles Cross

... looking south-east towards Staddon Heights. (Rather hazy today.)

Went to Plymouth today to meet my best friend for coffee, shopping, lunch, more shopping, lots of yakkity-yak. And so on. Had a lovely time.

Took this through the window from a cafe in Drake's Circus. You can see Charles Cross roundabout, in the middle of which sits the bombed ruins of Charles Church, destroyed in the second world war.

You can also see two buses so, if you keep looking long enough, you'll probably see a third appear any second now! The exits from the roundabout lead, respectively, to the police station, the Barbican, and the bus station.

I like Plymouth.
