Wednesday 9 March 2011: A busy river.
This shot was taken from Tynemouth, looking over to South Shields pier.
We were up on the top of the cliffs, and almost blown away, as the wind has been strong today. I wouldn't like to be on that ship once it got out from between the piers, as the sea was very rough.
It has been a nice day when the sun was shining, but bitterly cold.
