The snow is back ...

.. but although there was a covering this morning down here and not just on the hills opposite the house, there is now just a dusting left there and nothing at all here. In fact it has begun raining. Further inland and further north , though, there have been some serious falls, and more due in Caithness and Sutherland at least. March is that sort of month - waiting to spring forward, but always ready to slip back. The cruellest month , rather than April so I must be with Chaucer rather than Eliot.
