Thursday 10 March 2011: The Quarry
This was a quick shot taken between showers just after a lunch time meeting. The skies were dark and there was driving rain and wind as I approached this location. But suddenly it just cleared away allowing me to jump out for 5 minutes to grab a few pictures.
I tend to avoid swans but this one and its friend seemed to be insisting on getting in the picture as they kept following me. The other one even left the water to get closer, and for a minute I thought it was going to get in the car with me.
