Thursday 10 March 2011: Looking Over to Orkney
It was cold, cold, cold here again today! This blip was taken at lunchtime looking across the Pentland firth towards a snow clad Orkney. You can see the Old Man of Hoy on the left hand side of the island - to the right of the headland. This is a 137 M high sea stack that is well loved by climbers. You wouldn't catch me going up there!
Many thanks for all your hearts and stars yesterday. Funny how you can just be at the right place at the right time, in the right light with your camera!
