Thursday 10 March 2011: Chess game anyone?
My very clever father-in-law made us a fantastic coffee table in 1993.
He inset the top of the table with a chess board and made chess & draught pieces, which sit in purpose made draws underneath the table.
The wood used was Black Walnut & Sycamore.
As I'd spent my day off at meetings in 2 different hospitals today I had limited time for going out & about for some fresh air & photo opportunities.
Looked for blips once back at home & decided on my lovely table.
