Toads on Road

We went to Friston Forest today. On the road there we saw a couple of these signs. This time of the year Toads go to their spawning grounds but have to cross roads and lanes to get there, hence this warning sign to drivers. In some places local residents collect the toads in buckets and take then across the road.
