Friday 11 March 2011: offing seasoning
A set of basic supermarket still-alive herb plantlets survived quite well over the summer on the windowsill, though they did require almost constant watering and the leaves nearest the sink had to be avoided in case they tasted of the bits of washing-up water which had splashed on them. This lot had a week on top of the fridge before I thought it best to move them to the windowsill but it looks to have been too late.
