Monday 14 March 2011: A yellow lab

Nope, it's not the dog kind of yellow lab. This is the fish kind of yellow lab, and this is one of a pair that we have in our Lake Malawi, African cichlid fish tank.

I've been desperately trying to get a job out of the door today, as I'm behind schedule and already had a busy week planned. So, today was spent in front of the desk without even time to drift out into the garden for a minute or ten. All of sudden it was 7pm and I hadn't taken a single photograph. *Enter panic mode*

I managed to get some lovely pics of the spotted catfish, but it's not long since I blipped him and I don't want his head to get too big. I had a great pic of the two yellow labs together, but it was only great in composition and not in focus. I also had some gorgeous soft-focus pictures of Jackie, but she featured just a few days ago too.

So, a slightly out of focus yellow lab it is. If you look closely, you can just about see his/her teeth.
