SPRING CHALLENGE

It's interesting that the rich English language uses the word, "spring," for the season which is fast approaching; for the coil seen in this torch casing; for a spring of water and to jump up or leap about. We have bed springs, spring, the season, we might drink water from a spring and we spring into action, spring surprises, and spring from nowhere. I'm sure nobody wants an Italian lesson but even though it is a much smaller language, there are more words for spring: the season is primavera (first real), molla, a spring for beds and torches amongst other things, balestre, automotive springs, sorgente, a water spring, and finally salto or balzo, to spring up.

So am meeting the challenge twice here, springs inside a torch, batteries removed, and spring flowers, in this case rocket, which is springing up all over the garden in the spring.

For the record: 13 C. Rain, Day 3. Humidity 77%
