So i finally remembered to take the watch with the broken strap in to work - the perfect excuse to venture into here.

Blip heaven.

I interrupted the proprietor mid-breakfast (all the clocks on the walls were chiming 12:45) which he was frying up on the ancient gas stove you can just see poking out behind him. He didn't rush out...which kind of set the tone for the rest of my protracted visit to this eccentric genius of a shopkeeper.

I won't tell you much more - I have more watches without straps and a particularly error-prone cuckoo clock to get seen to.
