Old Volkswagon

Saw this rusty vehicle parked on the side of the road, and it took my eye as it had some vintage suitcases, and scythe on the roof rack. An odd combination.
Tried to take some interesting photographs of the whole car, but could not make anything of it with he surrounds, so opted for a closer view.
No meaning behind it at all.
