Wednesday 16 March 2011: Chopsticks - you're doing it wrong!
Long day today. We had the packers in to wrap all the furniture in bubble wrap and cardboard. Claudia was not impressed with having 4 strange men in her playspace and so spent a large part of the morning throwing a world-class (and by that I mean 'toddler-class') hissy fit. It was almost funny to watch her purposefully do something she knew would frustrate her (like trying to fit behind a sofa she was too big for, trying to get nappies out of the bag that were wedged too tightly) just so she could get upset and cry some more.
Couple that with waking early from a nap and we had one very tired little lady.
And one very tired mummy (my back is hurting from carrying her all day!).
Cue dinner at Dim Sum (ayamku seafood), a Chinese restaurant/diner 10 minutes away. Clauds was too tired to do much eating but she enjoyed playing with her chopsticks. Much to the amusement of the staff (who always love to give her cuddles and take her photo even though she is becoming a bit too big for them to carry comfortably).
She's now sound asleep after a nice warm bath and some milk. Mummy won't be far behind!
