Wednesday 16 March 2011: Lake Union View
After a doctor's apt. I parked alongside an great overlooking view of Lake Union. On the far right side you can see Gasworks park, a restored gas works place now a park and well known for it's fine kite flying location. Many view fire works on July 4h from this park also. Lake Union is home to several fine house boats that are a way of living for many here. There are locks connecting it up to Puget Sound and also it connects to Lake Washington by the Montlake Cut. You can ride a boat from Lake Washington to Lake Union and then through the locks to the Sound good link to see on locks
