Wednesday 16 March 2011: Road trip! :D
We'd planned to go up the North Coast for today, but Caroline had a driving lesson and couldn't make it, so we had to change our plans... Becca and I ended up going to the Folk Museum. It was a glorious day, and we had such fun walking around all of the little houses and soaking up the atmosphere... I especially liked the police part of the museum, here's Becca on an old police motorbike. :)
After the museum we went to Ikea, for ice cream... Yeah, we're strange like that, but the ice cream was totally worth it! ;) Then we went to Victoria Square to meet Caroline for dinner. We ended up going to Wagamama, it's a new noodle place, it was really nice, the food was so good. :D Once we'd had dinner we decided we'd head to the cinema, next stop Yorkgate/Cityside to see Hall Pass, which I've gotta say was a bit crude in parts, but very funny. :D
After that we headed back to Becca's for a bit of banter. It was such a nice day, but like Becca said, it's always the unplanned days, like today that turn out the best. :D
