Autumn Sunrise

It was quiet at the lake as the morning sun rose. The Welcome Swallows were flitting around as the water gently lapped the shore. Not a soul around as I stood by watching the changing sky.

Vibrant pink to firery orange became a golden soft glow, shimmering and glistening upon the water. Quietly people would start to pass by, walkers, joggers and cyclists were also enjoying the Autumn Sunrise.

Its been a busy day, groceries with Mum with a few stops here and there. We chatted over lunch and took a look at the changing scenes of Kaiapoi. Theres been buildings demolished and in time will be replaced. The landscape we are used to is changing.

Many thanks for your words yesterday, the vibrant Gerbra was enjoyed by all. I have unintentionally seem to have a theme going on vibrant orange and yellows but a more subdued one today although in the colour range. It is one way of keeping winter at bay :)

Heading out now, I'll try to comment when I get back, if not I'll catch up with you tomorrow :)

Edit: if you would like to see the same sunrise half way through look here. Wonder if any other blippers got the start?
