Purim

Even though Purim doesn't officially start until tomorrow night, the parties are already in full swing. There are club parties, street parties, parades and and almost everyone is dressed up - even if they are just sporting a weird hat.

Today I went to a street party around the Tel Aviv museum, it was fun and there were some very original costumes. This picture was taken as we were leaving - i just love the contrast between the toga and the MCDonalds ;)

Actually this year we are lucky because the weather was really nice which is rather unusual because as a rule, no matter how nice the weather was the week before, just like on British bank holidays, it will always rain on the actual day...
