Friday 18 March 2011: A tale of two phones.
For the last ten years I have had a succession of Windows Mobile phones - and they have been great - until the last one. My HTC Touch Pro 2 is a wonderful piece of hardware, but Windows Mobile 6.5 just doesn't cut it any more. Plus it keeps crashing (my first Windows phone to do that).
Today I took delivery of a new HTC Desire Z. I'm giving Android a go, and so far I'm impressed... Even in this photo you can see which display is brighter.
Hopefully the transfer of my life to a new phone platform after ten years will continue to be smooth (touch wood).
