Saturday 19 March 2011: Wash and brush up duck style!
Poor duck - it's washing itself in the river, not realizing that the river at the moment is not the lovely Avon River we used to have, but "an open sewer" with notices all along warning people to keep away from the contaminated water.
Not sure what effect it has on wild life apart from being very unpleasant, but you'd think it would have to have some sort of effect as they swim in it and drink it.
I liked the effect of the water sluicing across the duck's back.
