Saturday 19 March 2011: "A" Listed Concrete

This is what remains of St. Peters Seminary in Cardross and yes... it is Category A listed.

Built in the 60s and abandoned in the 80s is is the most destroyed and graffitied building I have ever seen that is still standing.

Here is a quote from Wikipedia -

"Determinedly modernist, brutalist and owing a huge debt to Le Corbusier, the building is often considered one of the most important modernist buildings in Scotland."

I would just have said "brutal". Expect many more blips from here, it is incredible.
