Pseudo Valentine's Day

First of all Happy Birthday to my brother Rory, and also to Long Way From Home! I had a quiet sing-song to both of you.

F and I have been very rebellious - we celebrated Valentine's Day a week early and had a fantastic time. We strolled the SouthBank and viewed various light shows courtesy of Switched-on London. Here you can see the rainbow effect on the Tower of London. HMS Belfast was having a proper disco of a time!

After that we had the most gorgeous dinner at the top of the Oxo Tower. To round off the evening nicely we went to the British Animation Awards at the BFI. This is where the public get to vote for the best animation. There are animated short films, music videos and adverts. My favourite is one that's been surfing the Internet for a while; it's perfect for cat people: Cat Man Do.
