West coast after the rain

Decided to shot in black and white today as the day continued to be gloomy, overcast, rainy, drizzly and I was despairing of there being yet again little to no light to give me a decent island forest shot.

I was surprised at how this worked out. It looks like the sun was shining and in fact all I was capturing was different light levels and the affects of light and shade on these cedar boughs. I love the way the rain drops glisten despite the lack of any sunlight!!
