Hobbs's Run

Drizzlescape

This has been the colour of my life for the best part of 2011, thus far. Or so it seems. Overcast skies, unending mist and raindrops ... raindrops ... aaaaand MORE raindrops.

Here I am at the site of a well known Blue Mountains vantage point. Under civilised weather conditions, out there is normally .. er ... scenery. You know - trees, valleys, mountains, rivers and such things.

All we can see today (or HAVE been able to see for some days) is a featureless expanse of thick billowing mist. I am convinced we have been the victim of theft. Someone has been utilising a gigantic fog machine, under the cover of which the Jamison Valley has been systematically dismantled, loaded into a semi trailer and carted off to Victoria.
