Sunday 20 March 2011: just hanging out

Bushtit (or so I thought -- see update below) hanging upside down from suet feeder. I was crouched under the rhododendron bush in our backyard when this little guy or gal showed up. I took lots of pictures but most of them were out of focus. Someday I'll get a proper auto-focusing lens.

Must stop here because my blip pardner is getting hungry. I really like her blip for today.

Update March 24:
According to whatbird.com this is actually a chestnut-backed chicadee.
