Sunday 20 March 2011: Plum Blossom III
Here's a street scene with many plums in bloom that a few have asked to see. It taken not far from where we live and looking down toward Lake Samamish which is a huge fresh water lake. It's hilly territory out here and this one is taken at the top looking out toward the Cascade Mountain range ---the lake is at the beginning of the foothills of this lovely range. Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Mt. St. Helen's, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Hood are all a part of this cascade range and are volcanic too. From this angle the lake is blocked by the evergreens!
