Monday 21 March 2011: A hungry deer

We haven't seen too many deer around this winter but when we do, there usually with two or three others. This one was all alone and looking for some food this morning. He was smart enough not to go out on the lake since it is starting to thaw along the edge. We did have an ice fisherman out there this weekend. Maybe he knows something that I don't know but once I see water on the shoreline, I stay on land.
