The way I see it.

Tuesday 22 March 2011: The Tide's out!

It was a lovely, almost mild evening when I got out of work and I went along to Dunnet beach to saunter about and find a blip. The tide was way out - the effect of the big moon at the equinox and bits of the beach were exposed that I had never seen before.
I decided that this blip gave the best feeling of wide open space that you can only enjoy down at a big beach, with a big horizon, with hardly any signs of man's existence. But if you look at it in large you will see the village of Dunnet in the distance and lots of seabirds in the middle distance having a late afternoon nap in the sun
