Tuesday 22 March 2011: Battered Beauty.
My wanders took me down to the quayside today, and despite doing a fair few shots I noticed this flying around on the way back, I only got one chance to shoot it before it was off again. Poor thing looked as if it had been in the wars a bit, torn wings at the bottom. So a bit out of focus apart from the thorns it was sitting on and a part of the wing.. but I liked it anyway :) and always nice to see.
