I took this very Spring-ish picture down Cut Lane in Fairburn. I'd gone to try and get some duck photos for my Flickr Set Year Ticks 2011 from Cut Hide at RSPB Fairburn Ings.

Whilst ducks were thin on the ground (or more appropriately, water) I did get two Year Ticks of Green Sandpiper and Chiffchaff, taking me to 105. You can find pictures of the Sandpiper and the Red-legged Partridge I saw later on my way to "the hide" HERE
