Friday 25 March 2011: In his Element/Allotment
The spell of good weather has meant that Tony has been living at the allotment during the day. As it is on a pretty mean slope, he has been busy terracing it so that he'll be able to make better use of the ground and it will be easier to access. He has built all the walls you can see (apart from the garden boundaries!) and they have been christened the Antonine Walls! There was a lot of rubble in the allotment which he has made use of, but he has also been bringing back decent sized stones from the disused quarries on the moor on his daily run!
I look forward to seeing it in greenery and colour in a couple of months' time.
