The Quiet Life

Oh! It was a lovely day again today, worth getting up half an hour earlier for. Like yesterday, I got a nice walk out with the camera. The world was so still and so quiet. A flask of tea just made the morning perfect.

A roe deer sprang up from its daytime hiding place as a twig snapped underfoot. Then the blissful silence was interupted by that bigger sound. You know it. The noise of the mobile phone!

My leisurely wander became a brisk walk as I needed to get back. A call for a few hours extra work which would bring in some unexpected income, always welcome....
