Friday 25 March 2011: Egret Takeoff
I'd like to do a photo in tribute to Lucy, the dog next door, who died this week of a brain tumor. This may not be the best tribute photo for a dog, but if Lucy was here, she'd probably love to bark at this bird. Lucy lived with Buddy, and they had the same markings, so they looked like a pair. I regret that I never blipped Lucy, but when I had my camera out, she always wanted a head rub. She will be missed.
It's spring break for me but not for Pelicanguy, whose spring break is next month. We're going away this weekend, but mostly I'll be around.
