Saturday 26 March 2011: Water...
...it's so exciting!
We finally went to Tasek Lama today (if that means anything to anyone) and had a little walk. It was a lovely little area. Sort of 'landscaped' but not if you know what I mean. Lots of local plants pleasingly arranged to look natural.
Of course their idea of 'health and safety' was a steep-sided hill above a storm drain with no barrier. The children's playground area was slightly better. They had erected some small bollards around half of it just widely-spaced enough to allow a child through but not an adult. Maybe it's encouraging younguns to learn to swim?
Anyway Clauds had a great time. She went on her first seesaw (so did her sister, incidentally although Mummy's arse didn't quite fit on the seat!), she got very soggy and had a nice time for about 10 minutes before it started to rain.
This snap was taken crossing one of said storm drains (which, because of the rain was more like a river than a babbling brook). She just can't get enough of water and would walk 3 steps, stop, point and say "water. Raining" before allowing herself to be led along.
We got very wet :)
