Monday 1 January 2007: welcome to the new year
5:58 am. just returned home after spending nearly 8 hours at a new year's eve party, where a slightly drunken mouth perhaps said some things that were a little too flirty. a little too obnoxious. a few hours later, my first stint as manager of a cafe. ahh the new year.
and it would only get worse. or better. or just more normal. working 9-10 hours a day, 5 days a week. a regular adult lifestyle. no time for art, tense sleepless nights, and constant exhaustion. it's a good thing i'm in the business of coffee.
