Saturday 26 March 2011: Light on the Mountain
A vibrant sunset illuminating parts of Ben Nevis and Fort William from across Loch Eil.
As the artiness of landscape photography increases, it becomes more contrived. I made several photos further along the road, came back scouting the best location for this scene, went round a corner and saw brilliant gold sunlight streaming across the landscape, so rushed back and caught the light just as it hit the Ben. Yay.
(It's OK, I'm not that far out of my comfort zone - there were plenty nice trees behind me ;)
