A Day in the Life of... H

Sunday 27 March 2011: The world is her oyster

Everything is interesting to this girl!

The rusty lock on a redundant old gate on our drive; the yellow flower she grabbed from Daddy after an unsuccessful 'carrot-dangling' attempt (he wanted us to go in the other direction down the road today - Claudia had other plans!); the dead bird covered with swarms of ants in the centre of the road; the lump of concrete she declared "yuck, dirty!" but picked up and carried anyway, placing it purposefully down 3 feet away from where she found it.

I know it's such a cliche but I could watch her all day. She makes me laugh, she makes me melt, she stops my heart every time she goes careening towards a storm drain... The world is truly her oyster.

An update on our other daughter - we reached the third trimester today. 3 months/13 weeks left until she's due! I can't wait until our little family is complete :o)
