Sunday 27 March 2011: Slurring his notes

He's the keynote speaker
and he's fooling
with the boys.

He's drooling
over the girls
and telling
all the wrong jokes.
nudgenudgewinkwink

It's like
he's been plonked
in front of a piano
in the Royal Albert Hall
and the piano has been drinking.

It's Last Night of the Proms
and he's slurring his notes.

It's a complete
and fucking disaster.
Who booked this guy?
And why?

Heads will roll.

the piano has been drinking

Thanks to grasshopper for reminding me what a great album Small Change by Tom Waits is.

This is song-inspired blip No. 4
