Learning day by day

Gardening

After church this morning we had to go and buy a dolls pushchair. William has taken such a liking to Carys's pushchair that it has been causing no end of arguements. So now he has one all of his own and Carys has even shared one of her twins with him so he had something to push in it.

The rest of the day was spent in the garden sorting out the raised beds so that hopefully this year we might actually be able to eat some of what grows in them and planting the laurel we bought last weekend to patch the holes in our hedge. Thanks to British summer time it is still light out there at 19.25 and the husband is valiantly trying to clean the patio so that we might get the table and chairs out next weekend.

William and Carys both loved digging around in the soil, Carys helped Daddy with the planting whilst William tried to empty the raised beds while occasionally trying to eat the soil. You would think one mouthful would be enough to put him off really but it doesn't seem to work that way.
