Monday 28 March 2011: A splash of colour

Yesterday we spent the afternoon in the garden. Two dogs and a wet winter do not make for a tidy garden so we have lots to do to get it looking ready for the many BBQs we plan to have.

We have moved around some plants and bought a couple of trees - a cherry tree and a lilac tree. I do not have green fingers by any means and Blip is great for a gardening lesson or two! The only one I really recognise is the pretty Magnolia tree I blipped last week.

We have some lovely chimney pots that will look great with something planted in them, also a big milk urn - to sell on eBay or not to sell on eBay!!

Next purchase is a new table and chairs for the garden. The ones we have, we have had about 8 years and are looking very weather worn to say the least. Roll on summer and some lovely times in the garden
