Monday 28 March 2011: Southern Sounds.
That was the title and handout from my lecture today. It was awesome, we got to listen to lots of Jazz/Blues/Country/Cajun/Rock music and hear all about how music changed throughout the Deep South from 1900 onwards. :D It was really interesting, and out Tutor gave us all a cd with loads of different types of Southern songs on it. :D Very cool!
Just home, after class and lunch with the girls. Relaxing for a bit, then going for a walk with Mum, followed by Zumba. Have a good day!
