Jardin du Luxembourg

We visited the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris today, including this area tucked away a bit off my usual circuit. Worth viewing large.

It was bursting with flowers, budding leaves and people. Around the periphery, starting at the gate at the Boulevard St. Michel opposite the Pantheon, was an exhibit of very large photographs of women around the world, by Olivier Martel, entitled "Femmes Eternelles." Many were striking and dramatic.

Afterward drinks and then dinner out with friends, so I'm posting late. Perhaps I'll add a bit more tomorrow.
