Nightlight

One of the powerful spotlights that illuminate Consti at night, and in the summer attract insects in their hundreds and therefore bats.

Had a pretty miserable day with this ongoing cold. Couldn't work, couldn't sleep, couldn't stand daytime TV, so mostly just did some light reading. One of the PG Wodehouse Psmith ("the P is silent") books, which cheered me up somewhat. And also the introduction to a book of monochrome photos by Jenifer (sic) Roberts. She describes the process of producing fine art black and white prints from film negatives (the book is from 1992, and I bought in a second-hand shop recently).
