Friday 1 April 2011: T - 5 hours
This is Something To Look Forward To which puts it 1-0 up on my Sprachkurs tonight. I've had a look at what we'll probably be covering and have been horrified to find a "Rap". I kid you not. It's called the "Der "Tag, wie geht's" Rap"
Here's a sample verse :-
"Tag.
Heißt du?
Ah... ich heiße Yota
Yota ist mein Name. Und Sie?
Wie heißen Sie?
Muller?
Meller?
Müller?
Miller?"
There we go. The rap has 6 verses. Six sucks-like-a-Dyson verses. No doubt we'll be expected to clap along or something equally lame. You can see why I'm looking forward to the beer.
Those people who know about such things may want to promote Der Rap as an alternative Christmas Number 1 this year.
