Friday 1 April 2011: The first of many...
Much as I can appreciate the beauty of a snail's shell, nature at its mathematical best, I know this is only the first visitor of many to emerge from the garden wall now that the garden is bursting into colour and the temperature has risen. Do I go for the old time remedy of beer in a saucer so at least they enjoy their last minutes, or go for Tony's Wimbledon approach of tossing them in the air and whacking them with a spade? Answers on a postcard please!
