Friday 1 April 2011: Brushing Her Hair
Lucinda sorting through the items from the changing station and brushing her hair.
I'm not happy with myself. The day turned out to be pretty boring for poor Lucinda. First I took her with me so I could get a haircut. She was as good as gold and waited quite happily, watching what was going on and chattering away. We weren't in there for long. My hairdresser is very quick. It was after that that the day turned out what I consider to be rubbish. We traipsed some shops looking for specific sizes of photo frames for some prints we had done professionally of Lucinda. They were for the grandmothers for Mother's Day so I really needed to get them and quickly. After no success at our local shopping centre, I took Lucinda to another one a bit further afield and ended up buying ones that 'would do'. But really they 'wouldn't do'. Not happy with my purchases - or panic buys - I decided to go to a new garden centre locally after dinner alone and found what I needed straight away. Now if only I'd gone there in the first place! What a waste of a day!
PS. I think Lucinda is now trying to say Dog!
