Saturday 2 April 2011: Old skool
Lovely afternoon at Winterbourne House and Garden assisting with an event. Lots of lovely graduates from the University, some of whom left as long ago as 1949. Many hadn't been back since, and very few had ever been to the secret jewel that is Winterbourne. A few had lived here when it was female residences. It's a lovely day out, thoroughly recommended.
I realise my picture doesn't represent anything to do with gardens - this was in the old scullery and kitchen which have been refurbished to show the house as it was when inhabited by the Nettlefolds over a hundred years ago.
