Saturday 2 April 2011: Busy As A Bee

Working outdoors again in Beautiful Sunshine - all good fun. I was painting the frame of a raised vegetable bed with some very sticky waterproof paint and listening to my iPod. That was a good couple of hours especially with the iPod being on Bizarre Shuffle - I haven't heard this for years.

After painting there was the cutting wood which this week was with a chain saw. That was very good fun right up to the bit where the chain saw went through a rotten piece of timber that was actually an Ant's nest. I've never seen soooo many black ants looking for a fight. Some of those ants were seriously big.

I like today's blip - although I'm not that fond of any creature that buzzes - the first of the bees are awfully busy. And I spotted a future blip in a Red Squirrel who is very cute looking but still way too fast for me today.

Oh and I think I found a reason why my job hunt hasn't been successful. I sign off my emails with "Regards" and I hadn't noticed that the "g" and the "t" on the keyboard are quie close together. Sometimes I hit the wrong one and then you get a very different kind of email than the one I mean to send. I'll be double checking that from now on.
